MARION COUNTY – Parents wanting to enroll their children in Extended Day programs before and after school hours next school year may do so at their child’s school starting Thursday, April 15.

This early registration process requires a registration form available from the school Extended Day Site Manager.  This school-based early registration process continues through May 28.  Early registration reduces waiting lists at local schools. 

After that date, parents may register at the Extended Day Administrative Office at Community Technical and Adult Education (CTAE, 1014 SW 7^th Rd. in Ocala). 

Parents should note the following:

·        A $15 non-refundable registration fee applies to each application.

·        Parents will receive information outlining the program guidelines.

·        Extended Day operating hours run 6:30AM until school begins and after school dismisses until 6pm.  Advance reservations for Early Release Day hours are available. 

·        All fees must be paid in advance with check or money order.  A flat-rate fee for mornings and afternoons runs $48 per child per week.  CDS subsidies are accepted.

·        Activities include arts and crafts, snacks, outdoor activities and homework time. 

·        The district’s Code of Student Conduct applies to all participating students.
