Local Business Does Job of Olympic Proportions
By Charlene Sestito, Editor
Driving from Dunnellon to Ocala on Hwy. 40, there are three office buildings that house the companies of Ictus Limited, Shirt Solutions, and Scrub Boutique. Owner of all three, Steve Tyree, produces custom designed uniforms for bands, choirs, dance troups, etc.
Tyree received a mysterious phone call one day. The caller was secretive, gave very little information and requested some special uniform designs. Tyree was cautious and put minimal effort into the initial design proposal. The mystery client called back. They liked the design and now wanted samples of the uniforms, but they were still very secretive. Tyree accepted the job with caution, and requested payment for the sample designs. The company immediately offered credit card payment, so Tyree produced his designs and sent them off to Canada as requested, still not knowing what it was for.
